How to eat


- Eat enough food each time, do not eat too fast, do not eat too much, chew the food enough before swallowing
- Take enough water.
- Eat fruits before meals and after meal
- Take light dinner, go to sleep half an hour after meal
- Try to keep same time each time you take your meal
- Do not eat while doing other activity
- Try to control your appetite, do not eat every time.
- If you stay long without eating, take warm water first before the meal


What to eat
- Fruits-pawpaw, watermelon, cucumber, mango, avocado, peas, carrots
- Food –pasta, rice, steak meat, vegetables, stiff porridge, stewed potatoes, pumpkins, fish , chicken


What not to eat
- Avoid banana, ripe/strewed, passion juice, dairy products-chocolate-yoghurt, cheese, chocolate
- Avoid too oily foods, carbonated/caffeinated drinks, alcohol
- Avoid citrus products, fresh onion, eggs
- Do not chew gums, avoid smoking
- Avoid beans and spicy food


Other hints
- Go to toilet to evacuate your bowl at least once every two days.
- Seek medical advice if the problem persists.

  2. Kitambi ni matokeo ya mkusanyio wa mafuta mengi kwenye ngozi ya tumbo na utumbo kwa sababu ya kutozingatia ulaji wa chakula kwa usahihi (balance diet).
    Ni vyema kufahamu mambo yanayosababisha 'vitambi' kutokea kwa wanawake kabla ya kuanza tiba. Binafsi, naamini ukishaujua ugonjwa unakua umeutibu kwa asilimia 75!
    Mambo matatu makubwa yanayochangia vitambi kwa wanawake ni:
    1. Uzazi
    2. Aina ya vyakula tunavyokula
    3. Unywaji wa pombe

    1. Uzazi
    Mwanamke baada ya kujifungua ni vyema akakandwa na tumbo kufungwa ili lirudi kwenye hali yake ya awali. Chakula anachokula mama mzazi kutokana na kuwa na wingi wa mafuta, protein na carbohydrate, husababisha mwili na uzito kuongezeka na wengine kupata pia 'kitambi' Hivyo ni vyema kula kwa kiasi na kuendelea kufanya mazoezi mara baada ya kujifungua ili kitambi kisitokee

    2.Aina za vyakula tunavyokula
    Sijui kuna mahusiano gani, ila wanawake wengi hupenda sana chips, mayai na kuku kuliko wanaume!
    Chips mayai na kuku vina mafuta mengi sana hivyo unapokula mwisho wake huifadhiwa kwenye ngozi ya tumbo na kuzunguka utumbo hivyo mtu huonekana na kitambi. Mayai na kuku hasa wa kisasa wana kiasi kikubwa cha cholesterol, mafuta na protein. Lakini pia baadhi ya nyama na mayai huwa na mabaki ya kemikali za kukuzia kuku (growth hormones) kwa wingi, hivyo unapokula madawa haya kukuathiri na kusababisha kitambi kutokea. Si ajabu siku hizi kuona watoto wadogo wakiwa na miili mikubwa na wakiwa wameota matiti na kuwa na vitambi! Ukiepuka vyakula hivi kitambi hakitatokea

    3. Unywaji wa pombe
    Mara nyingi pombe hunywewa na nyama. Pombe na nyama kwa pamoja huchangia kwa kiasi kikubwa kuongeza kitambi, hivyo pia ni vyema kupunguza au kuepuka matumizi ya pombe kama unataka kitambi kisitokee.

    HITIMISHO: Kuna dawa za kupunguza unene na kitambi, dawa hizi kimsingi huwa zinaunguza mafuta yalioko mwilini hivyo unapaswa kufanya mazoezi kusaidia utendaji wake wa kazi, na zingine huzuia chakula unachokula kufyonzwa mwilini hivyo chakula unachokula kinapita bila kufyonza na kusababisha kuharisha. Hivyo basi huulazimisha mwili kutumia mafuta yalioko mwilini kama chanzo cha nishati, mwishowe mafuta yalioko mwilili hupungua.
    Ukinywa maji ya moto hayayeyushi mafuta yaliyoko mwilini.
    Ukifanya mazoezi na kua mwangalifu kwa chakula unachokula hupunguza kwa kiasi kikubwa mafuta mwilini
    Pendelea zaidi kula mbogambiga na matunda kwa wingi na punguza matumizi ya vyakula vya mafuta na carbohydarate.
